PSone lcd to PS2

Post by Cast »

Ok, so i decided to connect a PSone lcd screen to my PS2. However, I keep hearing all this talk about it not playing DVD Games.

What meathod should I use to prevent this?
Also is the pinout the same for the PS2 as the ps1?

The pinout for the ps2 a/v jack is the same as for the psone a/v jack.
If you want it to work right you'll have to input composite video through the mini jack in the back of the lcd.

No,t he best thing to do is incorporate RGB into the LCD... This requires like 5 wires to solder tot he AV Out, but it's worth it... If i could EVER find an AV pinout of the solder joints, no the plug, i would do it myself. No one seems to have a pic of the AV out solder connections pointing to what they do! :?

Why use rgb if it's just going to be distorted by sony's copy protection though?
