hi everyone

i want to make a n64p but i hav a couple of question firstly what fan can i use in my system (what voltage) and how hard is it to relocate the card slot

A 5 volt fan would probably work good. As for the cart slot, from what I've read, it is kind of tricky because it has to also be connected to the expansion port.

The cart slot doesn't have to go into the ext. slot. You can solder it to the ext. connections on the board.

Yea, it really isn't that hard. If you take the Extension port off, solder your wires to the hooles from that. If you don't take it off, pust the wires in fairly deep, and put it in the regular holes.

thanks i will try it wen i get my n64 for portabilising btw should i use a ps1 screen or a gamecube?

lol soz forgot ths while i was posting what is the ext and does it have any use while portabilising??

1. HipGear is usually cheaper and comes with a bonus controller, but it doesn't really matter.

2. EXT Port was for the CD64, DD64, and DoctorV64 addons(mostly Jap). Not really used in portablized 64s.

3. Use edit button.
