can I mod a 360 controller to be a usb mouse?
can I mod a 360 controller, or any gaming controller at all to be a usb mouse? use the analog stickor d-pad to nav and buttons for the left/right clicks?
Re: can I mod a 360 controller to be a usb mouse?
I connected a PS3 controller and used a free program called xpadder to link the buttons into the mouse and keyboard.

So have the program run at startup. Should be easy for someone with your skillz.

Excellent

I use JoyToKey. Works quite nicely.
The way I've got it mapped out is like this:
Left analog stick = Mouse movement
Right analog stick = Scroll up/down
A = Left click
B = Backspace
X = Right Click
I also have a few other buttons mapped out, as well as the analog triggers, but I don't recall what's mapped to what at the moment.

No, but you can use keystrokes to navigate without a mouse. Press TAB to move the typing caret (blinking bar thing) to other fields.Doomed Jedi wrote:will that start before I put in password?
Or (I don't know if this is possible) install it as a service so that it starts along with windows.
