I'm glad it's rebumped this sounds like a really cool idea! Even though I can't see the pictures because it's blocked by DNS. I was thinking. Why not do this so that you can make a all-in-one portable?

You would need a pretty complicated switcher on the console end, but it's totally doable.
So do it!

I counted that as part of the switcher.
A pair of the top two would go a long way.
