sega nomad screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Does anyone have a pinout for hooking rgb from a console to the sega nomad screen, Abbibi's site makes it sound easy?

nobody's ever done it, but look at this pinout of the A/V output:

if you can trace the connections, it will most likely go to the inputs.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

finding rgb

Post by b_ski30 »

Im having trouble locating the rgb inputs, from the looks of kevin hortens portendo http://tripoint.org/kevtris/Projects/portendo/ they must be in that ribbon cable.

I've powered the screen (got it to light up) yet i could still have a problem there?

Im not sure how to find the rgb pins, ive tried just touching say the red wire to the suspected ribbon pins, but ive had no luck.

SO... My question is, should i be seeing something, anything if i hit the right pin with the red wire? Also any other input or help is appreciated.
