So I decided to take the plunge and start work on an NESp. I have a few problems though. The first one is that I'm out of 4021 shift registers. Where can I buy more? Also, I'm a bit worried. I'm not sure if it's gonna work, and I've blown a lot of money on them. Is this a project that is easy to screw up?

You can get 4021 shift registers at both Digi-Key and Mouser. Just search it.
