3rd party controller responce issuses

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

i bought a box full of videogame controllers

5 N64 (2 3rd party)(rest have thumb stick loose ness)
2 SNES
2 Dreamcast
2 Rumble paks
1 japanese Nintendo 64 jumper pak
1 Dreamcast Demo Disc
I tested all of the controllers all work but one

a super pad 64 has response issues
you have to hold the A button down for a second or 2
i havent opened it up
is there any way to fix this?

Open the controller to make sure that the A button makes proper contact with board when pressed. Also check to make sure that there is nothing that could be drawing current from the button. Does anything weird happen when you press the button? It could be a crossed wire(does B respond when you press A?).

I'm sorry... comes from working with cell phones so much... Means Original Equipment Manufacture (i.e. not aftermarket)... made by Nintendo.
Speaking of cell phones, any of you into Java Games?
