here's a very quick and sloppy explanation done in paint. it should be wired like this if rotating it 180 degrees:

the way it is done now is not lining them up properly. it's like having 1 wired to 6, 2 wired to 5, 3 wired to 4, etc...

That happens more than should be. I doublechecked it of course. Or triplechecked to be sure! :D
I'm continuing this probably on monday, because that's when I go to school next time. I'm still not sure, what to do then, because I haven't got any parts yet! Still waiting for post to get them here.
I'm thinking to name this N64 Rumble, because I'm putting two GC rumble motors in this thing. It doesn't have the word portable in that, but I like it nice and short.

nobody seemed to have realized it was the bottom but in the pictures you can obviously see its the bottom of the board
(not that I noticed it)

I could've guessed there was someone who isn't familiar with it, but look at the first pic, you notice the lack of components which almost always seem to be on top of a board.dragonhead wrote:im not familiar with the n64 boardsipsorz3 wrote:nobody seemed to have realized it was the bottom but in the pictures you can obviously see its the bottom of the board(not that I noticed it)

Would anyone tell me, if these could work for me? Those would be the prfect size and capacity. I'm planning to locate them in both left and right handles. 5200 mah would me ideal!
E: Oh, Crap. I'm probably not willing to pay 70+ euros for batteries so this isn't a working solution for me.
What about this. Can I open the battery and relocate it's insides?

I know, right? It might just be because I've built 7 n64p's, but I don't know why they would make such a mistake either!collinE wrote:I'm at a loss for words.
Maybe it's because I'm doing an n64 right now and I'm familiar with the board, but how could so many A-list portablizers make such an obvious mistake?
----Anyways:----
Great work so far!
The second pack is fine. You will be able to split it up, from the looks of it. I also reccomend that site, just a note, they provide a tracking number and they ship from california.

This is going to make me sound like the poop egress who didn't say anything till the answer was revealed and then tells everyone that he knew it all along, but I thought it was fairly obvious that it was the back of the board. Wouldn't make much sense to have the front pointing at the cartridge anyway
