What are the main things wrong for broken PSone LCDs?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

What are the main things wrong for broken PSone LCDs?

Post by riva16 »

I have 2 broken SONY PSone LCD motherboards laying here, with one spare working LCD display, and I want to use it! What are the main things to look for and jump to find the problem and fix it? This would be a nice little screen to hook up in my truck for games or something! Or just to have a spare! Thanks...

Fuses... Any specific resistors or or other componets. I have all the spares I'll need from ym other board, given that part isn't blown too...
