New to the PSP world but with ? about 3.93 firmware

Hi everyone i'm new to this psp thing my 2 boys got me into this cause they both have their own psp's and now i'm about to get one too but anyways I got my 2 boys psp's last year one was the daxter combo and the other was just plain black, they both have version 3.93 My question is what can i do to hack their psp's so they can play and watch movies from the memory card? Do i need to make the pandora battery or just chance the firmware or both? And if i make their batterys pandora can they still be used as normal batterys or can they be changed back? Like i said I'm new to this so any info would help............Thanks

Watching movies n' such is a normal feature of PSP's.

There's nothing special you need to do at all.
Any un-modified store-bought plain old nothing special PSP can watch movies.

The PSP can play a small handful of video formats.
Nothing special to do here really.

Oh, also, this is in the wrong section. Like, really really badly in the wrong section, woah.
