vga screen help

i have an extra comp screen in my house that im gonna use for mega gaming in my room because i cant have a tv in there. what im wondering is if the c sync is the same as composite video http://www.networktechinc.com/technote.html

Ya, I've been thinking about this too, but where could u get vertical and horizontal sync?

won't work unless you use a scan converter. c sync is the rgb sync signal.
your monitor most likely uses a 31kHz rgb signal, and consoles output a 15 kHz rgb signal.

With wiring rgb to the screen, do I wire it to the rgb sheilds? or the rgb or both? I dont know, im really new to rgb. I never even knew it existed until I saw this wonderous place of great happenings.
