Sticking Plastic together

Post by goodie »

Here is a drawing of what my NESp currently looks like:

I was not able to cut out a perfect D-pad shape, so I cut out a circle and placed the front of a NES controller in it. I tried using hot glue on the inside to secure it in place. But that prevents the buttons from making good contact with the rubber-thing that touches the board. I thought I could use the soldering iron to kind of melt them together, don't know if that'd work though. Or maybe I could use superglue or epoxy. Which would be the best way to hold the plastics together?

Foam tape. It's removable if you need to, and it's real easy to use. The have it at rat shack.
