Todays score:

I got a old TIME mag. The TIME is got was the August 17th, 1953 issue. And man, looking through it. It's like a portal to the past. Seeing what was all the current events that happened when this TIME mag was printed. Seeing all the old ads cars, cameras, and other stuff. And how some of the Picture were in color. (ZOMG, color pictures in a mag from the early 50's!). It's pretty neat

Along with with getting the TIME mag. I got a local newspaper dating back to August 1, 1969. Got some black speakers. Some bottles to add to my bottle collection. A unused personal address and number book with a fake leather cover. A old desktop (5¼-inch) Floppy organizer. Going to use if for storing CD's. And I got a picture frame. Of which I have already took out the nice pretty stuff out of. I'm going to use the picture frame and glass for an electronic project.

I got all of this for free from a yard sale that was over. And the guy wanted to get rid of some of what was left over.

I love collecting old magazines. I have a 1950 popular mechanics with an ad saying that " It has been proven that Camel cigarettes cause no throught irritation. Try them today. They're SO mild, and So good." You should seriously try old pop mechanics/sciece magazines though. there are several pages in them devoted to instructions for homemade projects. My Grandfather converted a '52 school bus into a motor home with electricity, flowing water, and tiolets from an idea mentioned in an issue. I'm glad my dad now has it. I think it was even featured in one of the magazines.

Just got a 2.4GHz 9maybe 2.6GHz idk I haven't messed with it yet. for $80, not the best deal, but still good as the same Dell on Ebay is going for almost double what I paid for it, I just hope my Radeon 8500 fits in the case.

yayz! I am getting out of the P2/P3 world and into the more, but not as modern world of computers.

The problem with shopgoodwill.com is that the prices usually end up being equal to or higher than prices on Ebay.

Dreamcast with A/V cables and power cord for $15, not the best deal, but I was happy that I finally found a working Dreamcast that didn't cost $30
