360 Power Brick

First off, not to be Captain Obvious, but that thing is HUGE! Second off it sucks, in 2 different ways. It sucks power, and sucks ASS. I mean ass soon as I got my 360, that thing gave out. Is there any fix, mod, or anything to help that thing be, well, smaller and more efficient?

with some mods a pc psu can be used in place of it.

So there's no loss if you take it back to the store and exchange it for another one, right?
