I've started four projects since the official start of the contest. I don't know how many I'll finish in these six weeks, but I will finish one at least.bacteria wrote:I am hoping to enter two systems, won't disclose much on the second system yet, suffice to say I have a 1.8" screen, composite video, 6v, 500mA only....cost me £1 today at a car boot sale!

Good, excellent; more the merrier! However, quality over quantity is the key.
I'm going to have to finish my SNES for my multi-platform system first, as I don't like to have several things on the go at the same time; unfortunately this means I will have less time than most; never mind, will still do what I can. If I don't do a GC in one of my systems I can always do N64, which is only about 3 days work or so (prettied frankencase).

Oh I agree wholeheartedly. Like I said, not sure how many I'll have at a "finished" state within the time frame, but it's worth a try. Of course, never being bothered to log any progress saves time, too.bacteria wrote:Good, excellent; more the merrier! However, quality over quantity is the key.
I find I have no problem working on multiple projects. There's often a point where I'm waiting for glue to dry or plastic to cure, so I might as well move on to something else for the moment. Just my method, though.

The wonderful thing about not playing is that I can't lose.Life of Brian wrote:I don't mean to trash talk or anything, but um... I'm making wicked fast progress so farHope y'all can keep up.
This contest sounds really cool, it's a shame I've just got way too much on my plate right now to be taking part in it.

Dang, man, I was keeping up great until my screen broke. The glass broke right where the ribbon cable connects. That one's shelved until I find another screen. If anyone has a 3" x 4" or smaller screen for REALLY cheap, I could resurrect this one.Life of Brian wrote:I don't mean to trash talk or anything, but um... If not, I'll just keep going on my others. lol
