Well might as well...
I am John McCracken. Born April 30, 1986 in Indiana. Grew up in Indiana till about 3 months ago where I came to Japan as an exchange student. I am currently living in Yachimata, Chiba ken, Japan. Not far from Tokyo and the cool stuff.
I do just about everything with some type of competence. I have built many computers, modded out LEDs in my room, ran track a while ago, I love weight lifting (do it almost every day), I draw, I paint, I build models, I fix stuff, I build stuff, I have been scuba diving, I have paintballed (love it), I have engineered speakers, I have done math competitions, written a book, play RPGs (video and paper), and modded out my car, carpentry, house building, and a lot of stuff. My goal is to become a modern jack-of-all-trades of sorts. But you know...
Anyway, next summer I have to go to college, not sure where yet but you know how that can be. I take things as they happen, dont look on the past often, and welcome the future for all its worth.
My favorite phrase is ``Its all good`` coined partially by myself and I also love Japanese women. Hence why I am in Japan. j/k culture plays a part there.

Enjoy that if you want any more information, ask. Peace
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.

My name's Jeff, I was born in May 1982, and lived in Illinois my entire life, except for 2 months in 2003 where I lived in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan and now. I've lived in Kobe, Hyougo, Japan for almost 4 months, doing a foreign exchange program. Kobe is near Osaka and Kyoto, and I'd just like to give a big middle finger to the Kantou area (yes, that's you too, Tokyo and Yokohama!)... before I go spend Christmas there. My hobbies are translating obscure documents from Japanese to English, and playing Famicom and PS2. Unlike many of you, I remember the pre-NES period of history... well, mainly I remember seeing the NES when I was 3 and thinking it was just about the most awesome thing ever. And now, when I am 22, I see new incarnations of it and think they are the most awesome things ever. My long-term goal is to make a multiconsole system supporting the NES, Famicom, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis among others. In as small a space as possible, of course.

My real name is Niall Wilson (a.k.a The Unidentified Assilant), i'm 13 years old, i've been into computers since I was 5 when I first played on the Megadrive (and I still have the same Megadrive and all the games), I now have 2 computers and obviously the internet, I do a lot of PC games and in planning stages of making my own consoles, even though I haven't actually made any handhelds yet.

Hey, I am G-force AKA Gabriel Dufendach, I am 16 and my Bday is june 2nd, I live in Indiana about an hour from Indianapolis, I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters, and I have been a christian since I was 9 years old. I have been home schooled my whole life and I like it a lot.

I like rock music and my current fav is linkin park (im listening to LP right now in fact, probably why I put this first)

I love skiing and snowboarding but im not too good on the board but i rock on skiis! I could beat anybody on a pair of good skiis.

I am a bit of a perfectionist which is why I take so long making new portables, Ive made about 10 cases but they werent too great so I trashed em. I am currently working on my best portable ever! It starts with the initials GI...and thats all I will tell for now.

I just got the family dell with 2.4 Ghz processor, 512 Mb RAM, 64 Mb Video card, and some other cool stuff on it, but I am still limited by extra slow dial up (28.8 Kb/s!) I wish DSL was offered here....
I know nothing of programing, but I wish I did.

I currently have a learners permit but I hope to get my license and a car with money from selling custom game stuff on ebay.

I love drawing comic books, and reading them, Ultimate Spider-Man rocks! (but the movies suck!)

I was playing basketball on our homescool team but I quit to help with the house being remodeled (and because it was STUPID!!)

I could go on for quite a bit, but i am tired and noboby cares about this crap anyway so I'm done.

Yeh I guess so. I pretty much teach myself from books. Beats putting up with dumb teachers.

Hey, my name is Brian. I'm a little embaressed! GOG thinks he's old and only 18.

O.K. Here it goes... I was born March 9, 1977. My birthday is today, so, that makes me 28. (Still younger than Ben) I still remember when the NES came out - I was 7 - and my family had a Colecovision before that. Btw: I remember what the game aisle looked like at Target when NES and Sega Saturn were at war, I wish I had a picture of it to show you. It was beautiful!

I stumbled across this site a few days ago and after about 20 minutes declared Ben as "My Hero". So, you should Know - I will buy his book and I WILL build the Hand-made NESp.

After a few days I can already tell you guys are going to be great asset to an old-timer like me.

Incidentally, I might be able to help you all out too. See, I work In Technical Support for Coleman A/C, RV division, and I'm quite knowledgable about A/C thermostats and printed circuit board diagnostics. (This is what I do between calls, sit at my desk and surf the web.) I love my job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/quote]
Actual statement from customer - "I don't have a voltmeter but if you tell me where the electricity is supposed to be...I'll put my fingers there and tell you if it is."

Hi, my name is Jason Gibson and I live in Conover NC. I am an oldie too I guess since I am 25 years old. I too remember the good old days when the NES was but a baby. I love retro gaming as well as the new stuff. I have a Xbox, but nothing will ever beat the games of my childhood. That's why I am building my own NESp! I enjoy gaming, fishing, camping, going to church, and spending quality time with my wife.
Life is a lot like a video game without the extra lives and continues.

missed this thread till now.

my name is JT (imagine that). i live in lawrence ks, and go to college here at KU. i'm currently a computer engineering major, but i hate it, and i think i'm going to switch to something completely unrelated (art? design? music?).
I enjoy video games, even though I don't keep up with them very much (i'm currently playing wind waker and i game on my ibook, if that tells you anything). i like music a lot, of all kinds. right now i'm listening to a lot of alt-country and power pop, with a little bit of psychobilly thrown in the mix. i prefer my music on vinyl (it sounds better), but i listen to my ipod most of the time (more convenient). i make my own music with a guitar and an organ (listen here).
i ride my schwinn cruiser around town. i drive a 1989 saab 900 turbo, but not as much as i ride my bike.
i enjoy long walks on the beach and candlelit dinners.
