My namco never had any work done on it at all. Except for me gutting the system which would only take a half of day anyways.

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

oh, no, that's fine. i just mean people who are already like 1/4 or more done with a portable. that's a pretty big head start if you ask me...

thats why we set a slightly shorter deadline, like 6 weeks or something like that, gives people enough time to gather parts and get them put together, my portable is getting close to done but ive been working on it for almost 2 months already, my case is REALLY complicated lol. or if i i finish it before the contest gets started i will enter my next snesP i am building!

but 6 weeks can still be a really tight limit for people who have full time jobs or 2 jobs... but i guess that's doable... as long as the contest doesn't start until like the beginnin of august. so that everyone can gather the needed parts...

i will go with what ever the consensus is. i just may have to work harder! but i'm up to the challenge!

6 or 8 weeks, something like that, 3 months is a bit long if you ask me, we have to keep the deadline fairly close or people will forget, lose intrest etc

that works for me.

so who wants to set up all the rules and deadlines? there should be a deadline for contestant entry. and then of course the deadline to submit your entry. and maybe everyone should wait to post anything about their final entry until the final deadline...? i dunno... just a suggestion!

Ok, So I have six weeks. How about we get an official list of participants?

And, I guess the best overall portable wins.

We should have different catagories, like
atari
sega
nintendo
plastation

ect.

I don't think we should need people to register ahead of time. just as long as you submit your project before the due date you should be permitted in.

I can volunteer to provide a Prize for the winner.

I have several systems, games, controllers, New Zenith screens, power supplies etc.

If the mods want to PM me we can decide what would make up a nice prize.

Heck I'll even pay for shipping to the winner.

Let me know :)
