Once i brought a "Black" 17" CRT Monitor for £40 off ebay.

After a lot of hassle with payment, when i finally recieved the monitor, it was a white monitor sprayed GREY! AND IT WASNT EVEN A GOOD SPRAY JOB!! (All the buttons were sprayed solid so you couldnt use them)

Otherwise ebay has been nice to me.

See this is why I scrutnise who I'm going to buy from so much. The only problems I had on ebay was one time I was buying a PowerPC 5500 form this guy but he screwed up the shipping and it would have been an extra $50 for it, but he gave me my money back. The other one was the G3 I ordered and it was more waiting for the seller to send me it then anything else.

I recently bought Alien3 for NES on ebay and the picture of it was a "stock photo" -----long story short, when I got it it had 2 stickers on the cart. No big deal except they were on the actual Alien3 label . GRRRRR

I would like to track down the sticker perpetraitor and put a bunch of construction grade adhesive all over his brand new car. Then, I'd ask him "hmm, do you think its gonna hurt the resale value?"

The moral of this story  never buy an ebay item with a stock photo

I bought a SNES Mini once, paid for it, and never received it.
