I used to hang out in car forums back in the day. I heard some griping about vinyl dye being an imperfect solution for plastics, both in color matching, and being colorfast... so I avoided it.
I heard praises sung of Fusion, and gave it a shot. I was suitably impressed as to use it almost exclusively. It's not bulletproof, but as I've said before, when properly cured, I couldn't even remove it intentionally.

Can't anybody spell? It's Vinyl Dye!
It's a dye, meaning it won't cover the surface - it embeds itself into it. I don't think it'll work too well on ABS (or non-plastics) because ABS is Styrene and the dye is formulated for Vinyl.
Krylon Fusion is paint - it covers the surface. It happens to be formulated to bond well to plastics (perhaps with a built-in primer of some kind) but is completely different.
