GBA-NES-SNES-N64p

Post by G-force »

Or just N4p for short. It could play everything! Here's how it could be done, take a GBA SP and get the video and audio in cartridge adaptor from lik-sang.com (that would be the screen), then use a Super Joy III for the NES, a mini SNES and a N64. Then put it all together in one somewhat big case!
The SNES cart would be on the bottom, the N64 cart would be on the top, and the NES cart would go in sideways from the top.
Whaddya think?

sure, it's nice to have one ueber portable, but I would rather have a ppc that could emulate all those systems any way :) Pair that up with making a snes cart reader, or even a n64 cart reader and you have an awesome machine!

Sounds like a portable y-boxx. If you haven't seen it check it out on techtv.com That would be the ultimate portable. Yea but what would you do for the built in controller? Maybe you could use the chip from each one and wire the buttons so that the controllers share them and you just switch betwen the systems. What would be even harder though would to use several systems that use cds and get one cd drive that all of the systems share. That would be so hard. But yea it's a cool idea.

For some reason this just reminds me of that Genesis-Sega CD-32X portable many have spoken of wanting. I have to say that portable will deffenitly be an item of envy but one beast to wire together.

mmm......breasts....

On a more serious note, I would reccomend just using the controller ports. It's a hell of a lot easier to make an uber-semiportable than it is to make an uber-portable.
