the voltage of the capacitor doesnt matter. as long as it meets or exceeds the original specnightwheel wrote:Um..... are you saying you might have one?DK wrote:Finally, A level physics comes in handy.nightwheel wrote:Well, if i do that. Won't it would look like a DCp?Negative_Creep wrote:With some work, you might actually fit the entire thing into a Dreamcast controller.
That would be awesome too, or work on a dreamcast controller to make it slightly wider.
Also I need a small part and i wondering if anyone has it. A 6.3v 47µF CAPACITOR. They don't sell a 47µF CAPACITOR with that low of a voltage at Radio Shack. So does anyone have one laying around that they would be will to give to me? I need that part to fix my GG audio.

Well, I just drew up a rough idea of what i basicly wanted it to look like. I'll probly move the speakers to another location when it comes time. But yea I've thought about that too.gamemasterAS wrote:Its kinda late so maybe I am missing something but wouldn't your hands be covering the speakers making for really bad muffled sound?
Also, I probly get some work done on the GG tomorrow. Going to see if some of my unused stuff have the cap I need. If so I'll butcher it.
If you care about this project at all you should not be buying parts from RadioShack. Their components are usually bought from companies that rejected them from their own production lines because they didn't meet their specs. Because they are of lower quality, RadioShack can buy them in bulk for pennies on the dollar, repackage them and sell them at retail for cheaper than their better quality competition. For this reason, most RadioShack parts don't even have spec sheets.nightwheel wrote:Also I need a small part and i wondering if anyone has it. A 6.3v 47µF CAPACITOR. I've also heard that RadioShack sacrifices babies.matt.c wrote:If you care about this project at all you should not be buying parts from RadioShack.
