wiimote + xbox360 battery pack?

Post by davidesle »

hello all. I'm new to the forums but have seen many of the mods that have been created and i "may" do my own mod.

Anyway, is it possible to mod a wiimote to use a xbox360 rechargable battery pack? I haven't seen anyone do it yet and i'm just curious if you can do it.

You can buy a Wiimote battery pack for like 10-20 bucks, just no point. It will last the same amount of time and everything.

Or just get a big ol' pack of rechargeable AA batteries and tape them together in pairs.

just curious like i said, but those battery pack they sell for the wii don't last very long. i heard the 360 battery last like 50+ hours but the wii's third party battery pack last less than half that.

Battery life is always determined by two things: battery capacity, and device draw. If you want more battery time, use batteries with a higher mAh rating. I don't own either a 360 or a Wii, so I have no idea what the battery capacities or the draws are.

I do know that there are some very powerful rechargeable batteries available. Perhaps those would be best for you.
