What is the best way to remove Krylon Fusion?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

What is the best way to remove Krylon Fusion?

Post by minkster »

I accidently touched the coat of krylon fusion on my case and it left a thumb print. I wanted to take it off, so I started sanding the paint off. When I went to apply a new coat, it didn't look as smooth because I couldn't get off all the original paint from the first coat. What is the best way to remove all the paint so it can be as snazzy as the first coat (without a thumbprint)?

Hi,

maybe try a coat of primar, before adding your final color?

Paint the problem spot thick then sand down to the height of the rest!

Or if it's ReALLY thick, bondo! (Xylene)
