I recently got composite video by using both the old video mod and the new video mod. But there seems a problem with some games. In both video mods some games loose left parts' details and shows like the ones below.
Space Invaders:

Asteroids:

Question Is this a normal situation? Can it be that games themselves have problems due to aging? I tried these games in two different Atari boards with two different video mods. And the results were all the same. I guess the problem is the games themselves. Right?

Ben also has the same problem; if however, he thinks it is. Check this comparison photos:

You can't do anything about it. It us just how the game is programed and how the TIA chip creates the pixels and scan lines.c_mon wrote:Ben also has the same problem; if however, he thinks it is. Check this comparison photos:

Trust me I have tried everything to get rid of the those lines. I sell video mods for the Atari 2600/5200/7800 so I would know

I guess you're right. Those lines should be the cost of having an original VCSp.
Rekarp I wonder if those lines appear in regular r/f mode. Do they and what proportion of Atari games have those irritating lines?
