Casio Model: TV-890B

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

if you can scan the board, there's a pretty good chance we can help you. :)

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

AFAIK, all the Casio pocket LCD TVs with model number prefixed by "TV-" are Ti-STN technology, which suffers from blurring of rapidly moving images. Also, most of them are rather low resolution. You'll probably much prefer the appearance of the high resolution models in the "EV-" series.

I have a TV-880 which I briefly considered using, but its resolution is not even good enough for Atari 2600 games - can't read Activision or Telesys onscreen logos; can't even read the scores on some games!

That's just the LCD and its connecting cable - scan the board that it was plugged into, you will need that part too.
