I just saw this when doing a project for school researching genetically modified organisms. sadly, they arent allowed in california (luckily I dont live in california), but they look really cool. has anyone ever seen these before? does anyone have one?

I know they have fluorescent worms up north for fishing. They're basically worms living in dirt contaminated with highlighter fluid. Their blood is basically highlighter fluid with oxygen in it.
EDIT: nvrmind, I thought the highliter thing happened by accident and they were living in the wild.
They need an outside source of light to glow, black lights work if you want to make then glow at night. Now a bioluminescent fish would be even cooler, that'd glow no matter what.Valium wrote:I'd like to put them in my piranha tank and turn out the lights.
