I really don't know what's going on with it now. I still think it's a memory stick problem, but I can't help you with it now. Sorry man.

Hailrazer, if you used that GUI I gave you in my PM, you now need to follow these instructions to get M33 to install: http://pspx.ru/forum/showthread.php?p=513246#post513246

I can't follow those instructions because those instructions are for making the memory stick using a 1.5 phat Psp.

I don't have a phat Psp.

Only thing I can think of is maybe it needs to be a sony brand pro duo (We all know how sneaky sony is) for some reason. Or we're just sol if we have a small board bat. I hate to do this But I think I'm going to buy a datel tool bat save me buying bats till I get an old one lol

It was/is a memory card problem .. IT WORKED after about 8 hours.

I got a guy to send me the kd/registry directorys off a slim memory stick and wholy crap it worked both lights lit up and it flashed. It now says M33 3.60 on firmware!!! The GUIs I all tried never created these directories or the CORRECT ones.

If you need these files pm me. I will forward the email about 1MB. Just copy them to your memory stick and then pop in the battery.

Thanks for this mod worked like a charm once i figured how to do a MS without a fat psp!!

Thanks!

Do you guys think that would be possible to do that on fake battery´s ?
i´ve got a fake one, that looks perfect next to the original (just the box), but from inside it´s another story.

The battery reports the serial "0x3D868A00" which seems to be generic and all of them use the same serial. Trying to change it using the pandora battery creator won´t work since it shows me the error at address 0x26.

I open up one of those battery´s to see if using that method would work, but take a look on the board.

Would be any pin to cutout to make the battery reports 0xFFFFFFFF ?

No u can´t, coz the pandora for slim only has 3 options.
Install 3.60 M33, Remove 3.60 M33 and Backup the NAND.
So until DAX releases the Unbricker for the Slim, you won´t be able to downgrade or install a custom firmware.

Yeah, but just on "fat" PSP´s

No, the fake batteries have a generic serial number hard coded into the microcontroller itself. There's not a way to do a hardware hack on it unless you can reprogram the microcontroller (and that might not even be possible if it's a write once only deal).

Hi - can someone help me out. I'm trying to find the memory stick files, and I've been googling things forever. Can someone help me out? I don't have a homebrew psp - so I'm looking for the files already done, without having to go through creating the memory card with a homebrew psp. Anyone out there able to help me? I've gotten the battery done already, and all I need are the files. Thanks. :D
