Hokey title I know but let me introduce the

TRUANT

I have been working on this system for quite a while now and have finally decided to give up on cart modding a radica. Basically what this is, is a Super Sonic Gold radica with a TV that still picks up TV signals. It is powered by a tyco rc flexpack battery, the TV is a casio ev-700 series, and it is all in a polycase enclosure. I get about 3.5-4 hours of play time out of the batts and can get about 3 hours of watch time while watching TV. Without further ado here are the pics

I won't bore everyone with the building of pics, but here are a few specs on the building. I ruined 2 radicas building this and burned up 1 tv in the process (damn poliarity), as you can see it has a/v ports both for input and output, so it can go to TV or I can hook up other game systems to it, as I said before it still plays tv signal and has quite a long battery life, and the battery makes a real nice stand for watching tv or using as a monitor for playing other game systems. thats awesome. how did you mod the charger so that it worked as a way of mounting the battery? and how do you charge it? im just wondering because i have the same battery, and i wanted to use it. great job man.

@darth- all I really did was chop up a charger and take out the guts so it could be used as a holder, I have 3 of those batteries and 2 chargers so I have plenty of batteries charged all the time

Nice job you did. Too bad about the cart mod, though i know you had a hard time with it.

the battery is a tyco tmh flexpack, they are pretty common RC car batteries and the screen is a casio ev-750, a standard portable tv
