Really the most important thing is which way you like it best.
Ben prefers the GB style, but I like the GBA style. It fits my hands better and it's easier to make.

I like portables with oblong shapes... like a triangle... or a cylinder.... No... seriously it depends on the controls... the analog sticks I like the landscape but if you don't have that... I like the portrait shaped
