new n64P design (sorta)

Post by Triton »

i have decided to forego the custom case on my n64P. i have discovered that it takes way too much time and effort to try and work with the annoying plexi and plastics with the limited tools i have at my disposal. but fear not! i have an alternative and if I may say so myself, its quite creative(in my opinion anyway) im putting the n64,batteries,lcd and control in a PSX case! i hope to have the whole sheband done in a matter of a couple of weeks (possibly more i need to get new n64 and LCD plus rewire the cartslot, controller ports, power, and reset buttons!) the finished product will look awesome and very clean :D

I had to vote PANCAKES! I couldn't see myself doing otherwise...

As for your idea, let's see some pics, the visualization portion of MY show is currently malfunctioning. I need to be showed...

Edit (P.S.)-HK-47, I see you couldn't resist either

Go figure I'm the only one that votes seriously.

Anyways, I've talked with Triton (via AIM) and the whole thign will have all four controller port in where the original ports were, like he said cart will slid down the back of the case and also he's looking for a battery to come with a charger to aloue for charging right there.

mardi gras sir POSTS a lot, and if i didnt say so already (dont think i did) the origonal PSX power and reset buttons will work with the 64 (rewired ya see) not much progress till i get an N64, psOne LCD, drillbit, and misc other stuff like wire and more ribbon cable! a tentative guess at when i get done is around 2 weeks for basic running shape (after i get parts) and time after that to rewire all that stuff! anyone rewired a n64 power switch before? any additional info would help! :D
