no cartridge slot on super joy III
hi i just got my super joy III today and it has no external cartridge slot, only a 68 pin micro slot where the battery SHOULD go in this thing, does anyone know if this is still able to be used to run NES carts? if so does anyone have the pinouts for the micro slot? this has a small removable cart that stores the games on it, they arent built into it
thanks

heres the picture of it, the small card you see on the right is encased in what USUALLY is the battery case on this one and shoves in the small 68 pin connector that you can see in the pic, this is the 12,000 in 1 superjoy 3

Most browser's can't handle them without extensions and just show the raw picture data. Just save the page as a .jpg and view it.HK-47 wrote:Hmm... Maybe its just my computer... Dang that is a tiny NOAC!! It looks like they made a revision again to save money. So it is 68-pin?? You might have to experiment with a scope to figure out the different signals.
Key points to look for are 5 volt and GROUND.
Pins 45 and 46 on the famicom are JOINED, so look for two pins joined by a trace. (They are the only joined pins)
Then find a Famicom to NES conversion data sheet on the NET and try to match up the connections.

If all else fails, take it apart!

MIME types people, MIME types. Files without extensions definitely aren't sent as JPEGs. Save the image to your hard drive and add the .jpg extension to it if you want to see it... (or use IE, but... it's IE)
The two sets of outer pins looked unused... see if they go anywhere on the main board or the cartridge. It could just be the Famicom pinout with eight extra, useless pins. Maybe the pirates got a good deal on 68-pin slots as opposed to 60?
