Relocating/Adjusting the Expansion slot

Having the jumper/expansion pack sticking vertically is a major thickness problem....

I wouldn't mind rewiring it to lay it horizontally, but what guage wire would ya'll recommend?

It's going to take some mighty fine soldering, and a fine piece of wire.
Also, will it affect the ability of the slot if I add about a 1/2-1" of wire?

scsi or ide wire thats what i use

It won't effect the cart at all. I use 2 strips of ide cable for mine.
