What SCSI Ribbon Cable to get????
OK, what type of SCSI cable do I need to buy that is 50-pin and has 3 connectors on it like this:
#=====#=====#
Where, # is a connector and = is the cable. Is it SCSI-1, SCSI-2, or SCSI-3 or what?

That is a SCSI-1/SCSI-2. If you are just wanting to cut it to solder to the N64 cart slot then that cable should work just fine.

Wait, wha? If it's for an N64 cart slot, why not just use IDE?

I think I understand, but that doesn't seem possible, you'd have to rip half the EXP port off. I was thinking he would cut the ribbon and solder it to the board, and just plug in the N64 cart slot.demonofaj wrote:Center plugs into the 'header' that goes into cart slot, and the other two to the two rows on contacts on the cart. Man I'm good...

You'll need long pins on the connector if your planning an n64 relocation.
Solder = better!

Wait, I'm still confused. Why not just use 2 IDE cables?
