game gear screens

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

hate to be a party pooper, but the GG screen is about as useful as a GBA screen: it can only be used for that system unless you have a tuner. the screen is digital, and incompatible. Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but that's the way it is. Heck, if you have a majesco game gear (the kind with the gray ovals by the screen) you cannot even use the tv tuner.

Sorry to burst your bubble AGAIN but the GG LCD uses Digital Input not analog so composite RF nothing will work.

What the TV Turner does is convert it into digital that the game system can understand to produce the picture.

U can't hook the TV turner directly to the LCD as it needs the whole system to convert the signal to something it can use.

Sorry but GG is useless and Kevin horton didnt mean that u can just stick RGB into the GG like the nomad

sorry :(
