There are many different composite mods for the atari, and I'm hoping that the 4050 mod would work with the psone lcd. It might also just need a transistor amp because of a weak signal.

For what it's worth, I got this PM from Ben a few weeks ago:

I've never gotten an Atari to work with a PSOne screen. Ever,

Must be a sync thing.
I'd love it if someone was able to do this, though: I'm hoping to have my screen be detatchable and work with my Atari, Commodore (which will be a while) and other things, you know... kind of a universal screen. :D

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

Wasnt there talk about using a chroma decoder curcuit to send the signal to the PSOne screen? I dont know much about how to do this. The only other thing I can think of doing that might work is incorperating a rf modulator, yeah size if sacraficed but you might be able to get a larger screen out of it.
