DOS game problems

DOS game problems

I have an old dos game on my PC-carmageddon, and I just got it today. this game is sweet, but sometimes in middl of playing it it just turns off. why? what should I do, I have DOSbox installed.

Are you running it under XP, or on DOSbox? NT, 2000, and XP all have problems running DOS software. (A lot of it is due to the hardware abstraction layer.) Try running it on DOSbox.

Sounds like an incompatible video card or driver or something.

But I know next to nothing about this.

It's an old game, perhaps hardware has just moved past supporting it.

Try tweaking DOSBox's ini file. That usually helps...

Im using DOSbox
