Probably not much at all, if it's like any other SNES or NOAC out there. An average RadioShack heatsink should do.

Ok, thanks. I ordered mine a week ago so I should be getting it soon. I hope to make quite a small portable so the batteries will be close to the power circuit. That's why I needed to know

I got another problem though... My screen only inputs RGB so only the snes part would be able to connect directly, right? Or does the Nes composite gets converted somehow?

Yeah I know, but I'm not sure if the NOAC is also connected to the video encoder.

I really hope so. I might have a converter onboard the lcd but I'm not sure.
If this works, I would be able to make a psp looking snes + nes portable.

My lcd board is in a shape that is perfect for doing this, about double in lenght as in height. I'm a bit worried about the size of the power board though.

Nope, it's not; you've got to tie up the NOAC to a separate composite video line. No way any NOAC would support RGB. Only the SNES board uses the video encoder.

i believe there is an ic chip that can convert composite to rgb. i know for sure there are ics that turn rgb into composite im sure there is one that works the other way. but if it was composite to begin with it wont help the picture quality just make the signal easier to use for your.

yea from what I saw, the SNES portion of the FC Twin was VERY similar to the SNES mini just the chips seemed re-located, so I would boast that these things are very close to 100% compatibility if not dead on
