NES Satellite

Has anyone ever hooked up a NES Satellie to their portable nes? Can you do that for a portable NES assuming you leave the ports on it that you need.

Don't see why you couldn't, though the ports would need to be correctly spaced.

Did any other systems release a satellite for their system. I saw one for the Super Famicom but that's it.

pretty much every system that didn't have fixed controllers (like intellivision) had wireless controllers (even atari) but that's about it.

Sorry I'm thinking of something differnent. Like the super famicom thing where you could download new games. They even released a special Zelda games just for it. I read the wrong thing about the nintendo satellite.

I think sega made something like that for the gennesis, but I don't know much about it.

Sega made a modem for the genesis to play online games etc.

snes had 1 to

I dont know about the Nes as iv only ever seen a modem for the lottery which connected to the lottery server which randomly sent numbers to the NES when you play the scratchy games.

thats about all i know???

altho the atari 2600 did have a modem

The best part was that that idea was in Minnesota, and that makes me feel special

Know what it's called. It would be cool to put in a portable. Where you're on a car trip just pull out your modifyed genesis and don't even need to put a game to play games, that would be sweet.
