Splitting Intec GCN battery.

Post by khaag »

Does anybody know how I could split the intec gamecube battery without altering anything, other than the location of the cells? Here is a picture of the battery in question:

I drew a line where I'd like it to be split.

Thanks in advance,

it depends if thats a 5 or a 10 cell pack. i cant tell from the picture. but it kinda looks like theres only 5 long cells in there?

if it is indeed 10 cells, with a division along that line you drew, then i guess you are going to have to take off the plastic to see whats inside. it all depends on how the cells are wired up inside.

if its only 5 cells... well. you cant cut them in half :P

Looks like 10 cells.

Unwrap the pack's skin (that green plastic holding it all together) and you'll see the interconnects. You can easily relocate that in a few different ways.

Yep, it's 10 cells.

10 x 1.2v = 12v

Are the interconnects a cardboard looking thing on the battery terminals?
