Tact button wiring?

Hey, I was wondering which prongs on the tact buttons activate the switch? Can I just wire 2 diagonals in there, or not?

I did, but i'm not exactly sure how to use mine. And it seemed that most of the pins were wired together. That was probably cause I only tested diagonals.
