Questions on the PSp, again.

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Questions on the PSp, again.

Post by kirayasuo »

Ok, I manage to ge the thing up, but I can only see the TV screen activating, but not the PS itself, I have go according to this website,http://www.emuhelp.com/~doejo/PPP.html but without the modulator. Now what I need to know is,

How do I solder the wires to the board eactly,

Is the +5 V on the Tv xcreen important.

What are the wires that need to be soldered.

Can a 8 AA battery pack enough to power up the PSp? Wihtout any other batteries?

My TV screen is a Casio 660V Portable, anyone using that series to make portables.

Please help me, Im really on my wits end.

8 AAs is enough, and +5V on the screen isn't the input.

I don't understand. You don't know how to solder?
Is the +5 V on the Tv xcreen important.
Whatever else may change in a project like this, you always need power.
What are the wires that need to be soldered.
Power from batteries to system and screen. Signal from system to screen. Signals from controller to system.
Can a 8 AA battery pack enough to power up the PSp? Wihtout any other batteries?
You're wasting power at 8. Use 6 batteries (rechargeables). The PSOne runs fine off 7.2V. You might need a regulator as well if your screen runs off 5V.
