What are some good mods besides adding a mod chip and putting emulators on it?

hmm, well, you could do the popular "mixed case mods". Like putting a ps1 into a nintendo case. Or installing the psx in the same case as your pc (non portable of coarse).

You can also try putting the ps1 in a toy or something along the lines of that. Or you can get creative and make a themed ps1 case, like poeple create themed PC's. I mean, case mods and portable mods are pretty much all unique. Maybe add some tv-out plugs on thit or make one with a turbo controller. switch a rumble with led's.

I can't really think of much more.

oh, nm. I mis-read your statement. Anyways, there might be a movie player for it, although, it might be an external plug-on.

I know there have been mpeg movie players but I dont think they're manufactured anymore. Mod chips the mod I'm going for as soon as I get the damn motovation to solder in the basment.

Thats all I can think of, the case mode though is very interesting I've only heard it done on the xbox but I live a shelthered life.

Becuase I got mine form a friend and I dont know what Ben's stance on them are I cant tell you. I'd suggest using google and looking around, last time a checked they're only $10 + shipping (which is what for something >1 ounce).
