Well, I was rewiring my PSONE controller. Wiring just right, start, and a ground, to test. Here are the images...That wire on the down below of the PSONE mobo and the top of the N64 controller are the grounds.
Sorry for the big images, someone please see what the problem is...that being that any button I press won't register.

The saddest part is, is that I can't even test out the common connections I haven't hacked (L1), because as soon as I remove my official controller, I can't press start! When I press analog with my licked upon fingers, the LED doesn't come on...I think the controller itslef is bad.

is it all buttons dont register or just the relocated ones, im not sure if the place you have ground soldered to on the N64 will work, since you snapped the controller it looks like the trace goes nowhere. try sanding off some of the big green covering and soldering ground there.
