Battery Diagram

Here I saw this battery diagram and would like to use it on my N64 portable. Whoever it's is it's a good one. I just have a few questions.

I'm a little confused on it.
It looks like your only putting a positive current into it. Also Where should the other line from the 3.3 volt converter go. Also I don't know if this matters but I found that the 6th pin takes 12v 0.8a and pins 2,3 take 3.3v 2.7a. I would really like to use this diagram since it only uses 8 AA's. please help me.

ok it looks like hes doing what i'm doing and use=ing all batries for the 12 volts and only the ones he needs for 3 volts its simple and is eficant at wasting battrey life but is worth it waight wise.
and make them rechargeable!

So how is he going to get 3 volts out of the batteries? Where on the board do you solder the wires then from the AA's then?

Yeah, his diagram is incorrect. It would be 4.5V unless he used rechargables which would give him a good 3.6V.
I would also suggest to him to use AAs for the 3.3V line and a 9V for the 12V line.

I modified it and I think it's right now it runs off a 9 volt and 2 AA's I'll tell you if it works on Monday. E-mail me if you want to see it.
