Commodore Amiga CD32 - Anyone had a go at making a portable?

Anyone?
I'm quite intrigued about this idea of making portables out of consoles (complete newbie here). Fascinating stuff. If I do attempt a portable project it would have to be the Amiga CD32.

BTW the casing side of things looks to be the hardest does anyone have any links or resources on case building from scratch?

Use an SX32 card so floppy disks can be used on your portable.
