Slide out screen?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Post by typamc95 »

What if a screen was puller out from the system, the secured, could it be done?
It would work much like a toaster, only without the the burnt toast smell, the heat and the toast shavings.....

Edit:What the?....

Now I know that THREE topics wasn't intended.

It seems like a good idea. How would you do it though?

I know!

Think cables. Make it tight enough to hold the screen in, and some kind of hinge.

Yes, I suppose it could be done, it would just be kind of....odd. And although I understood you, some of our other members may not. Please type in PLAIN ENGLISH from now on.

It's done on CarPCs quite often, that way the screen could be tucked into the dash when not in use. All you need is longer wires and some sliders.
