1) What does this have to do with N64?

2) You don't send power to the battery unless you're charging it.

It is the one marshall used on the l64 IIRC. But that is all. I second the notion that this be moved to Technical Q&A

When recharging, how much power needs to be sent into it?

Exactly. It outputs 7.4v, and It's go'n in my 64SS.

Will 7.4 work, or do I have to use 9v? I think i remmeber the L64 requiring 9v...

The wall wart that comes with the DVD player is about 9v. Just get a 9v wall wart and wire that to the bottom two terminals. The output terminals are the upper pair. There are positive and negative symbols in the plastic, just look closely.

You normally need 1.5-2V more to charge a cell than what it outputs.
