Ok, my new portable post and story is finally up!
And as some of you guessed, it's my NOAC NESp. The story has been CONTINUED finally as well, complete with an over-the-top "making of" action game that you can play if you get bored enough!
Enjoy!

Because of your foolishness.
Now, what exactly did you have to do to make this happen? The making of story was a bit too undetailed for me.
Keep in mind that mine shall most likely not have an internal screen. I'll probably use another PSONE screen for mine.
NOTE: This guest is an idiot when it comes to these things. To fully understand it and apply it to his portable, he needs friggin' MS PAINT diagrams. Or at least a detailed description of what wire goes to what to make it take NES carts.

Very nice. I started one of those myself, but have let it gather dust in a box as well. Maybe one day I'll get around to finishing it. You know, for the anniversary of the original 8-bit Nintendo, we get a recolored GBAsp and a few re-released games. Something like this would have made so much more sense. Nintendo could even develope a couple brand new 8 bit games to go along with it. I'd have paid mucho moolah for this thing (well, at least the $100 that would get you the "Classic" colored GBAsp).
*sigh*

Congrats to Ben on his new portable NES. I noticed that he didn't add it to the Project 42 page... Do you think the "Nintendo Entertainment System Portable Built by CNC Machinery" he mentions isn't this one? Or do you think he just made a mistake?

I really liked the story but it didnt feel any longer than the nes but i got throught the game very quick so i guess i went to fast
But great work
i would of liked to have the clear plastic look like u had when just the nes controller was attached to the first 1 looked real nice
Great Job you're got me having idea on how to go about making my case out of sheets of plexi using a drill and file
only tools i got
But i Also was thinking about making a case out of polystyreen plastic
Its firm enough for a hand held and if i made bad cuts on the plexi i can use that as an overlay to hide them and make it look a lot nicer
