Convert GBA video output to RCA composite video

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Convert GBA video output to RCA composite video

Post by websurf586 »

Hey. This is my first post on this forum, and I'm not sure if this is the right category for the post. If it isn't, I apologize.

I just purchased a new GBA to replace my old one, which has a cracked LCD screen. Rather than throwing it out, I thought it would be cool if I could take off the LCD screen and some how solder an RCA composite Video cable to the Gameboy motherboard.

Unfortunately I have no idea as to how to go about modifying the GBA. If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.

He wants the tv converter or gba transverter so he can use the gba(broken one without a screen) on a television.
