OK, first, sorry about all that about SkyOne dissing on Swordgun, I guess I misunderstood the situation. anyhoo, why do your parents not want you to open the screen? Seriously, there is NOTHING insude that could hurt you badly, at worst you might hurt the screen by discharging static electrocity from your own body into the unit. If you were working with a regular CRT you would have serious things to worry about, but an LCD is about as safe to work with as they come. Youre more likely to get hurt with a toy electric train set or a RC car battery than with that screen. I mean, the avaerage screen is about 5-7 volts at maybe 1 amp at the absolite max. An RC car battery can carry many more amps and release them quickly enough to maybe leave a burn and stun you, and (this is from experence here kids, dont try it at home) if you spill something on toy electric train tracks you can give yourself quite a shock before the breaker blows. (or in my case, you could lick them... no kidding, but I was only 8 then... ahh, the stupidity of childhood) As long as you are not messing with the wall adaptor you will not be able to hurt yourself seriously.
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!
